About Shuichi Take
Shuichi Take, one of Miami’s most sought-after personal trainers, possesses a positive aura and energy that is as unique as his Japanese/Cuban background. Originally from Washington D.C., Shuichi has been active in sports and exercise his entire life. Therefore a career in health and fitness, where he can share his enthusiasm for living a healthy lifestyle by motivating others to achieve the same goal, was a natural choice.
In 2004, Shuichi was hired by NBA superstar Alonzo Mourning to design and facilitate a strength, conditioning and rehabilitation program to help him recover from a kidney transplant. Shuichi soon relocated to Miami to continue working with Mourning during his successful return to the NBA. The partnership of Shuichi and Morning is described in Chapter 12 of Mourning’s autobiography “Resilence: Faith, Focus, Triumph”. The book goes in depth to illustrate the experience they both underwent in that period of their respective lives. Since then, Shuichi has worked with many of Miami’s celebrities, professional athletes and other elite clientele.
With almost 15 years in the fitness industry and degrees in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology, Shuichi has had the opportunity to work with clients from all walks of life with a diverse range of goals. He has combined all of his experience, knowledge and expertise to create a finely tuned approach and philosophy to fitness by shaping a healthy body and mind that builds sustainable, healthy lifestyles. Although eating healthy throughout the day and regular exercise is the foundation of his healthy lifestyle, Shuichi firmly believes that life, and everything it has to offer, is meant to be enjoyed. Taking care of your health and body should be an essential component of one’s day that fits into your current lifestyle and daily schedule.
