DUMBBELL STEP UPS
Use a bench no higher than knee height. Beginners can use a lower bench if necessary. Make sure to keep your back straight and chest up to promote proper posture.
Start behind the bench holding one dumbbell in each hard. Place one foot up onto bench and step the opposite foot up onto bench so that both feet are on the bench. As you are stepping up with the opposite foot make sure to breathe out. Step down and repeat on same leg or alternate legs.
Advanced option: lift opposite foot up so that knee is level with hip and hold for 1 second.
