Side V Ups

The Side V Ups is an advanced level core exercise that is a variation of the V Ups that focuses more attention on one specific side of the abs and obliques. Start on your side with bottom forearm on the ground (elbow under your shoulder) and your top arm behind your head. Propping your upper torso up off the ground with your bottom arm, lift your top elbow up while simultaneously lifting both your legs up so that your knees move towards your elbow. At the top of the exercise your butt and forearm should be the only contact point with the ground. Slowly lower down until your head and legs are 6-12 inches above the ground then repeat.
